TYPES OF SEDATION

Minimal Sedation

You may choose minimal sedation by administering nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas. You will be awake, fully aware, but calm. It wears off quickly, so you may drive home.

Oral Conscious Sedation

Oral Conscious Sedation (OCS) offers a deeper level of relaxation based on the dose prescribed and the sedative delivery throughout a procedure. These safe prescription medications are generally taken before and during your appointment, providing an effective level of relaxation. Depending on your services, Dr. Rezaei will customize the sedatives and timing to provide the best experience.

Intravenous sedation, or IV sedation as it is commonly known, is a safe, innovative solution for patients to be almost completely sedated during their service. Most patients who experience IV sedation can sense a general awareness, but perceive that time passes by very quickly, waking to find their dental procedures as completed.
